Sunday is Mother's Day in the US and Despicable Me 2 has released a short video to celebrate. It features some cute new voice-over clips of Elsie that I think you guys will enjoy. Watch it below and make sure to wish your mom a happy mother's day!

Great news guys, Elsie has a new project! It's a movie called Gutshot Straight and it's set in Las Vegas! The plot is based around an alcoholic gambler played by George Eads (CSI). There are a few big names attached, including AnnaLynne McCord (90210), Vinnie Jones and even Steven Seagal! Elsie's part is only small, she plays Stefanie, the daughter of one of the main characters. If you want to learn more, visit the movie's Facebook page or website.

In some cute news, Dana Gaier, Elsie's co-star in Despicable Me, posted the most adorable photo of herself and Elsie during one of their first days recording for Despicable Me back in 2009. Elsie was only 5 years old at the time and now she's the grand old age of ten! Make sure you view the cuteness in the gallery. Today is one BIG day for our wonderful Elsie! Why? Because it is her 10th birthday! Saoirse and I would like to send the biggest of happy birthdays to Elsie on this day when she turns double digits! She was only 7 years old when Enchanted was first opened, can you believe that? In these last few years, Els, you have come so far in your career and grown so much and we couldn't be more proud! So happy birthday, sweet girl, and we hope your day was as special as you are!

The first full length trailer for Despicable Me 2 has been released! We finally get our first look at the new plot. It looks like Gru and the girls (plus the minions of course!) are out to save the world this time. Elsie has a couple of cute lines that I think you'll all enjoy. Hurry up July 3rd!!

It's March! And that means one thing around here - birthday project time! As our regular visitors know, every year we do a birthday project for Elsie. This year she is turning ten and we are collecting messages from the fans to celebrate. Good news guys! Just 2 weeks ago Elsie shot a campaign for Toyota and now two TV Spots featuring Els have turned up online! The commercials are airing for presidents day so all the kids tell us what they would do as president. Elsie would get rid of chores and put unicorns in every petting zoo. Elsie for president!! The spots are only regional so you're unlikely to see them on TV, but if you live in Northern California keep an eye out! A big thank you to Lisa for sending them to us! Hey guys! So we have some news - it turns out Elsie's episode of Raising Hope aired last night on FOX. I'm sorry we couldn't tell you guys in advance but the episode was moved up at the last minute due to the cancellation of one of FOX's other shows. Either way we have the clips for everyone to watch! Elsie played a character named Susie in a fake TV show called Yo Zappa Do that the Chance family went to see being filmed. Her scenes were totally cute and she got to wear some awesome clothes too! Elsie must have had so much fun working on the show with everyone. According to Elsie's dad most of what she filmed was in last night's episode, so we don't think she's going to be in the second part next week.
